Unbelievably the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 33 years of trading, ‘SNAP-ON TOOLS UK’.nnAs many of you will know We are proud of always purchasing the very best in equipment to service your needs. We have stuck with the ‘John Bean’, ‘Snap-on’ and now ‘Sun’ brand. nnWe have had a few problems with Our last three or four pieces of equipment but have put up with it as maybe a glitch.nnAfter Our recent move and having spent tens of thousands of pounds investing in what We thought was top of the range equipment, We have been let down in a catastrophic way by ’Snap-on tools uk’.nnThe customer service is so appalling I have had to personally end the phone calls due to the sarcasm and Goulding from one of the customer service supervisors.nnI am now having to consider legal action against them as my request to make an official complaint has resulted in being ignored. nnI have now had to employ a local independent garage equipment company to correct ‘snap-on’s’ failings.nnThis being said We have ensured that We will continue to invest in the very best equipment from an Italian manufacturer and all of our current equipment will be replaced as required by this brand.nnI am merely posting this as a warning for any garages or tyre shops that maybe considering a purchase of larger garage machinery from the ‘snap on’ ‘Hoffman brand’ as our insurance engineer has refused to test our 6 month old lifting equipment. nDue to insufficient documentation of the installation organised and paid to ‘Snap-on Tools uk’.nThis in itself you would think could be solved by a couple of phone calls and emails wouldn’t you? nnYou’d be wrong. ‘Snap-on’ who I employed to install such equipment cannot provide the supporting evidence of their installation and are not willing to help.nnI would like to add that this is in no way connected to the local ‘snap-on franchisee’ who visits with his tool van offering tremendously good customer service and reliability, it’s just a shame that the corporation above him do not see how their actions effect the franchisees image.nnRant over but please beware of the salesman’s word and handshake..
