What a challenging job this turned out to be. This 2017 Skoda was in with us this week for some work on the suspension. We always advise the owner to have a wheel alignment check after certain jobs are carried out, so this was done using our nice new Hunter Wheel Alignment system to ensure that the vehicle was set to the factory specifications. The reason this preparation work is so important is that this vehicle is equipped with several driver assist systems. This means that after the alignment is performed we need to carry out calibrations on the front mid range RADAR system and the Driver assist camera system. Now normally this isn't a problem and the RADAR calibrated just as expected, however the camera decided it didn't want to play. To sort this we had to perform a diagnostic and coding session with the Skoda dedicated diagnostic platform ODIS. Once ODIS had done the business the camera calibration was completed the first time and the car was finally sorted. How can we help you today ?
