We are launching a new website soon, which will showcase the recent changes at Auto 2000, in parallel with the training that our technicians have recently undergone, illustrating the efficiencies that will benefit our customers. New Managing Director Richard Curson, Nick’s brother, brings the technical Engineering skills needed to make the transition from ICE to EVs. A Chartered Engineer, Rich has led some of the UK’s most cutting-edge programs in Avionics, Robotics, and Automotive. His early career was served in Lommel working with Ford and Aston Martin on Electrical, Software, and Mechanical integration of prototype vehicles, and launching new vehicle lines. Richard and Nick grew up riding motorbikes and fixing cars. Cars are in their blood, and both their Father and Grandfather were Engineers, both Nick and Rich have served in Apprenticeships, something that has helped not only on the shop floor but ultimately in the board room. Steve, our lead technician has now been with the business for over 10 years, he has proven over and over his intelligence which he pits against technical challenges that at Auto 2000 we are presented with every day. He and Nick are the backbone of the operation and are well respected amongst their peers for their knowledge of Porsche. At Auto 2000 we have always looked to the future, and we see many opportunities with the advent of electrification, opportunities that will allow us to continue serving our customers for the next 40 years.
