If you are gong on an Easter trip this weekend then take a few minutes to ensure your tyres are in good health. Have a quick look at your tread depth. The legal limit is 1.6mm of tread but tyresafe recommend 3mm of tread. Check and put right your tyre pressures. Your pressure can often be found on your door sill or in your petrol cap cover. If you are carrying a full load (suitcases, 4 or 5 people etc) then there will be an option in your tyre pressure label to put more air in to compensate for the full load. Have a quick look on your tyre walls looking for rips and tears, bulges and cracking in the rubber. If you are going away but are unsure if your tyres are good to go then please give me a call and I will be happy to pop round, take a quick look and correct your tyre pressures before your trip. I am closed from Good Friday til Easter Monday. Have a great Easter break everybody.
