How do I pay for the tyre fitting?

We accept both cash and debit/credit cards as payment for any of our services. We can take payment either in our depot, over the phone or out and about (when using our mobile tyre fitting service).

Do I need to be there when you change my tyre?

No, as long as you leave your locking wheel nut key somewhere accessible (if applicable) then we can change your tyre(s) without you being with your vehicle. For this service payment must be made prior to the work being carried out.

How do I check my tyre tread depth?

The easiest way to check your tyre tread depth is to put a 20 pence piece in the groove of the tyre. If you can see the inner ring then your tread depth is getting to 3mm and you should consider getting your tyres changed soon. See our blog post here for a video about this subject.

How do I check my tyre pressure?

Your owners manual should show you what your correct tyre pressure should be for your car. Once you have this, the easiest way to check your tyre pressure is to go to a petrol station and use their digital compressed air pump. See our blog post here for a video about this subject.

How do I visually check my tyres for damage?

For a good visual inspection of your tyres you want to check each tyre for any damage to the wall of the tyre, any objects embedded in the tyre such as nails and make sure there are no lumps, scars or cuts in the tyre.
