TCM Caravan & Motorhome Service Centre have a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified and Experienced Service Engineer to join our small but growing business. The successful candidate must have previous experience in the motorhome and caravan service industry with the ability to work on all aspects of caravans and motorhomes. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently under pressure and remain positive and professional at all times.nnThe position is based at our workshop in Tursdale, County Durham but a full UK driving licence is essential for this position with a desired C1 licence as they will be carrying out both mobile caravan services and motorhome habitation services as well as repairs at customers homes, caravan sites and on storage pitches as well as at the workshop. As a mobile engineer you will often be the first point of contact for new customers and will need to portray a meticulously professional image at all times. Honesty reliability and a great work ethic is essential. nn*Everyday jobs will include: *nn* Mobile and workshop caravan and motorhome servicingnn* Mobile and workshop fault finding and repairsnn* Managing customers expectationsnn* Processing paperworknn* Carrying out emergency call out work on caravan and storage sites.nn* Gas Repairs and installationnn* 12v and 240 volt repairs and installationnn* Heating system diagnosis and repairsnn* Fitting accessories: Bike Racks, Awnings, TV aerials and Solar Panels, Satalite systems etcnn* Electrical diagnosis and repairsnn* Damp repairs (at workshop)nn* Caravan and Motorhome washingnn* Pre Purchase inspectionsnn*The successful candidate must: * *nnBe fluent in English and be able to write competentlynn* Be able to work independently and as part of a small teamnn* Excellent verbal communication skills - have the ability to convey information verbally to fellow team members, customers and managers.nn* Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacksnn* Able to adapt to the company's needs in the way we deliver our service and customer experience. * Reliable, honest and hardworkingnn* Have a meticulous attention to detailnn*Hours of work*:nnFull time.
