The customer noticed the losing pressure & assumed it was a puncture that needed to be repaired. On closer inspection it was obvious that the tyre wasn’t safe with cracking all around the tread. The customer also had a long drive ahead & I advised on replacing the tyre. We fitted a new 225/55/18 tyre for their Mitsubishi Outlander. All other tyre pressures were checked & adjusted accordingly, tyre pressure system was reset.
