Booked my car in for an MOT, not thinking anything would need doing as on my last MOT id had new breaks done and new . .. tyre in July, due to lock down had barely used the car. Got a call to say i needed front break pads and discs plus 2 new tyres. Was a little unsure, but foolishly went ahead and agreed to have the breaks done, but would take the car elsewhere for tyres. but only because i wanted a second opinion. Picked my car up, but wouldn't give me a pass certificate until my front tyres were changed. Took to the place i know and the guy who owns the company, asked why i was back so soon. Told him needed tyres - he looked and said they were ok, but because i couldn't get my pass certificate without them, asked him to change them. (id rather pay him)but knew i was being ripped...
