Lamborghini Aventador Gearbox Rebuild/Lamborghini Common Problems We have had this Aventador for the gearbox repair. The customer had a problem when driving normally, the car was not able to select certain gears. Also if the car managed to select gears, it would come out of gear and go into safety mode. We have removed the gearbox, stripped and assessed it then found the problem. We have replaced all worn parts, rebuilt, refit and re-calibrated the gearbox in the car. We are becoming very used to working with these gearboxes as we are seeing more and more Aventadors with similar gearbox problems.
