Some interesting news happened earlier this month. Intelligent speed limiters have become mandatory for new vehicles being sold in the EU market. While at the moment it isn’t in the UK, it could well do. Even though politically we cut ties with the EU, the Department of Transport in the UK were fundamental in the development of these intelligent speed limiters. So watch this space! Importantly they can be bypassed by simply pressing down on the accelerator for instances where it would be needed.
