New LDV Flip Key Breaking - Lincoln Car Key News Have you seen the latest version of the LDV Maxus. It looks the same, but the keys have been upgraded into a flip style key. Unfortunately, they are showing signs of a problem, even though the two vans we've see are only a year old. This is the second LDV van we've looked at in the last few months, both 2020 vans with broken keys in the ignition. The problem is that the key is made of two parts. The keyblade is cut and then fitted into the body of the key, simple enough. However, when the blades break, they are not easily available, which means the whole key is useless. Fortunately we can cut and code a non remote key (no buttons) easily which will allow you to use the van. The old key can be used as a central locking fob to make life a bit easier for you. We're not sure when the blades will be available, but keep your eye out and we'll let you know.
