This week at Wirral Detailing... something a bit different! This beautiful classic Ferrari 328 GTS in Rosso Corsa í ¼í·®í ¼í·¹í ½í° in for a 'Paint Correction and Protection Detail' locked in with Gyeon MOHS EVO 3 year Ceramic Coating nnAs you can imagine, being over 30 years old it had unfortunately picked up a lot of nasty scratches and general defects. The whole cars paintwork had also become milky and cloudy from UV damage, it desperately needed a professional detail to bring the gloss back!nnAfter finding the best and safest cutting compound, the swirl marks, cloudyness and scratches were pretty much all removed. The paint when then refined to polish any remaining haze away leaving the results you see here. The exhaust and tailpipes needed attention, metal polish and 0000 wire wool getting great results as always í ½í±nnThe rear badges were removed, the paint behind corrected, and then polished. New adhesive being applied before being refitted.nnThe black trim was also quartz coated, taking it back to black, protecting the finish from UV damage and making it hydrophobic!
